BOOKS OR MOVIES?
BOTH. The mun has had years worth of reading the "Dune" books and material. Movie background can be played with supplements from the book, or strictly from the movies.
MEMES OR PSLS?
BOTH are loved. Not everything needs to be a long term ongoing story, although that is dealer's preference. FOR MEMES please keep in mind that Paul will act as he always would. No out-of-character silliness since it makes part of the mun's soul die. Paul isn't always doom and gloom, he has a shitposting side to him.
"Dune" has levels of political power play, societal and religious manipulation, body horror, galactic scale wars, genetic memory that can seem like schizophrenia, political in-family marriage, blood feuds, mental and physical conditioning, blood sport, cloning, drugs of psychedelic levels (spice), creepy awareness children. The story takes place in a fictional future of humanity. Uncomfortable subjects may not always be present in tags, but the mun will not dance around topics if they are vital to the character/core story of "Dune." If you have questions, please feel free to ask the mun.
ABOUT CHANI
The Mun would love to meet Chanis and roleplay with them! Considering the changes in the movies, I'd love to hash out what player preferences would be. Generally speaking, Paul would be played with selected supplemental information from the books.

Cross canon, canon, any sort of CR under the sun! The Mun does prefer long running story formats, but this is definitely not required. Please, feel free to continue tagging Paul on any bakerstreet meme you end up seeing him on! I'm fine with rolling continual CR and reoccuring threads and beats.
SHIPPING
The Mun prefers to go with m/f for shipping, as Paul has shown no other inclinations otherwise (though, canonly speaking, he has only eyes for Chani). Presumed long running romance is fine as long as it's discussed and worked out, and feels as if the characters click!
